Inner Self
Illustration, Creative Direction
2017
Inner Self is a series of screen-printed posters and hand-drawn animations built around a simple question: what would happen if we could meet our inner self? The project imagines this encounter through a small fictional protagonist — a tiny creature living inside each of us. Moving through thoughts, certainties, and illusions, the character navigates the subtle tensions of our inner dialogue. Through humour and minimal visual storytelling, the work explores the strange, often contradictory relationship we have with our own mind.
I developed the project independently from concept to production, including illustration, visual storytelling, poster design, animation, and screen printing. The work combines moving image and printmaking, using a simple graphic language to experiment with character, narrative, and sequential storytelling across different formats.
