An extra bit — whatever that is
Editorial Design
2016
An editorial essay exploring the evolution of Fraser Muggeridge’s graphic design practice and the cultural, conceptual, and practical reasons behind its transformation over time. The project combines critical writing, visual analysis, and image composition, and is conceived as a book-like object rather than a purely academic text.
I led the project from start to finish, including research and bibliography, co-conducting an interview as part of the investigative process, writing the essay, and designing the full publication. This included editorial design, image selection, layout, and visual composition, treating the essay as a complete editorial artefact.
