Last night's dream
Video Making & Creative Direction
2017
A video project commissioned by UAL: University of Arts London — translating a dream into a visual narrative. Through carefully curated footage and atmospheric montage, the work gives form to a remembered experience — a souvenir of something that happened, but not in this tangible reality. The video exists also as part of a personal dream archive, exploring memory, perception, and the liminal space between the real and the imagined.
This work was developed independently from start to finish. I sourced and selected the footage, shaped the visual language, and edited the final film, using the medium of video as a way to investigate dreams as a fundamental and human form of knowledge and inner experience.
